Oh, Holy Hell! 163.6 and I’ve Been Sick!

So I’ve been sick since Monday – starting with a sore throat, turning into what I think is a cold. Not Covid I guess – had 3 negative Covid tests. The problem is – I gained a pound! How does that even happen?! I’m hardly eating! Must be the sherbert and popsicles. Anywhooooooo Gotta get on the weight loss train soon!
Whew. . . Were Do I Start. . .

It’s been a while, and I have so much to share! Hmmm. Might as while start with the fact that I weigh 162.8 – so not where I wanted to be at this point. But hey, that’s why I write – encouraging myself to make healthy changes. That said – going to a BBQ party at my friends George and MaryLou’s today, so starting tomorrow 🙂
Next, Sean and Ilinda bought a house. I was overjoyed with them but had to do a bit of inner reflection to get over myself and missing them. I’m all good now. I’ve been over to visit several times, and house sat with my grand cat Luna and hamster Munchie. Such a lovely, peaceful, feel-good place. I am so happy for them!
I’m still a work in progress when it comes to finances. I am going to start putting money away next week and saving a nest egg. Cutting myself off from using credit cards too. I don’t need a thing! I am looking forward to having savings and feeling secure.
Today I’m going to a BBQ at George and Marylou’s with Alec, Tony, and Vicki.



Yippee!! Down to 160.2 Pds Today!

I decided to weigh in this morning (I usually only do it on Mondays), and I had dropped 2 pounds! YAY!
162.2 – Lost a pound!

Lost a pound! YAY! Every little bit counts.
What I did great – was cut out processed sweets.
What will help me do even better – is portion control.

So I missed a few days logging food. I will say I did a lot better. I cut out sweets again. That’s a biggie for me 🙂

Breakfast:
Coffee (2 cups w/creamer), a bowl of strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, and banana with cinnamon on top.

I am waiting for my paperback food journal to arrive, so I am journaling my food/activities here.
3 cups of coffee with cream
5 8 oz cups of water.
Smoothies (super greens, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, peanut butter, almond milk
Tuna sandwich with two slices of cheese and veggies for lunch.
Naan chicken tikka masala for dinner
Sucutash
Brocoli salad

Sean and Ilinda are now homebuyers! So excited for them, and they so deserve it! I couldn’t be happier!!! Married in December – homeowner in May – so awesome! My heart is full💖💖💖💖💖
