No weight loss this week but stayed the same. That works for me because it didn’t go up 🙂
Down to 162.4! So thrilled! Things I’ve done to lose the weight so far – stopped eating processed sweets – not eating after dinner – cutting back a bit on the carbs – eating low call whole wheat bread – walking more often but I need to do better.
So I’m finally taking advantage of my Medicare and have had lots of lab work done with other tests schedules (mammo, bone density, thyroid). So far I found out I have high blood pressure and am pre-diabetic. Neither came as a big surprise because I am over weight and don’t exercise enough. Anyway, I’m now on high blood pressure medication and need to lose weight and exercise. Fortunately I’ve already been working on the diet, no processed sweets and more fruits and vegetables. I’ve also been walking the last week. This was before the news. Anyway, definitely give me incentive to “do the right thing” and take care of myself.
Down to 166.8 today – slow and steady wins the race. Has been a couple of weeks with sugary foods like cookies, cakes, etc. Just have been eating fruit (watermelon, blueberries, strawberries and bananas).
Haven’t added to my food journal like I should but I will say I have been cutting out snacking after dinner and have cut way back on sugar, eating fruit instead and small Italian ices once in awhile. Very please with my progress.
So happy! Down to 168 today! 1 pound at a time works for me 🙂 I know that a huge part of the weight loss to due to cutting sugar and not snacking after dinner. Now I just need to keep with the game while in Arizona next week!
Down to 169! Whoop! Whoop! Walking and cutting back on sugar helps and eating more fruits and vegatables.
